Field of Dreams

Remember finding dandelion seeds as a child, and making a wish before blowing out the seeds?

 

Field of Dreams is a jumbo-sized, collaborative sculpture, presented by the Clark County Public Art Youth Education program. It was created in collaboration with youth from Pakdale Recreation Center. Students were guided through an art workshop that encouraged dreaming wildly and thinking big! Each seed holds a desire, wish or dream of a child in our community. 

 

The sculpture serves as a home for our biggest, wildest dreams. At first keeping them safe and sacred while they are in their growth and development stage - but once they're ready, we blow the seeds and watch them spread in the wind.
